Essay time in class Day # 2

Please use your class time wisely.  Today you should be outlining your essay and finding quotes (from The Inferno, Article 1, Article 2 and Article 3, or the websites that we have been using in class) to support your thesis.  You may brainstorm, share ideas, exchange quotes, discuss cantos, edit and proofread your classmate's essays and your own and basically "work" on your essay today in class so that you don't have to spend so much time on it at home. 

Do not waste class time today or I will change the agenda to remove this valuable time so you will have to complete the entire essay outside of class.

HW
1.   Final typed draft of essays are due on Wednesday March 23 (the day before Spring Break).  If you are going to be absent on that day please e mail me your essay in advance so that you do not receive late credit.
